I bet almost anyone who watches Putin’s speech about the Russian invasion would take it with a grain of salt because after all, it’s “Russian propaganda.” It’s good that we are skeptical of foreign governments, but we should also be skeptical of our own governments.
Maybe improper use of the equipment is the key to their superhuman level of military success 198 Ukrainians dead to 3,500 dead Russians. How can anyone believe these numbers? If we’re faking numbers just say 100,000 Russians were killed and Ukraine is defended by iron man.
Ghost of Kyiv Fake. Snake Island Fake. Sam Hyde is not the Ghost of Kyiv. Zelensky Army uniform fake. Proud Boys fighting in Europe fake.
If there's a hot war with supposed bombings and hundreds of casualties so far, why are they faking stuff like this? EVERYONE has a camera. Can nobody record any of this stuff?
That girl whose face was plastered on every newspaper is a from a gas explosion in 2018 or a crisis actor. Patriotic Ukrainian images are also fake.
Russia did not come to fight Ukrainians.
Then they quickly change the articles once people with a room temperature IQ or higher take more than 5 seconds to look at the images. Even some Western news sources will call out some of the BS.
It’s beginning to look a lot like the NYT caption contest. The same picture will have 3 different captions.
The elite Spetznaz were apparently captured, but they were Ukrainian, no they were Russian? To be clear, I don’t know the truth. The uniforms are Ukrainian, could be Russian saboteurs, defectors, or a staged photo-op.
Nordstream 1 is still open how are these sanctions at all? Nordstream 2 gives Russia more leverage (though some people will argue that once it’s built, closing it down gives the West advantage). Boycotting everything except oil and gas is meaningless (I hope they don’t force me to send back my Russian mail-order bride).
Aged like milk.
Let’s read the American sanctions.
“Our actions, taken in coordination with partners and allies, will degrade Russia’s ability to project power and threaten the peace and stability of Europe…
…The United States consulted closely with partners to tailor the economic costs of these actions to weigh most heavily on the Government of the Russian Federation (GoR) and its economy while mitigating impacts to America and its allies.
The EU is massively dependent on Russian energy. Russia provides over 50% of coal and 1/3 of oil and gas to Germany (because they closed down their nuclear plants at the behest of a disabled teen girl). Without this energy, Germany is crippled. So that Germany remains a top 5 power (kinda sad they are top 5 shows how useless most of the world is), a whole pile of exceptions is added as “general licenses.” As is expected from the West, their sanctions are (Virtue Signaling ∪ Useless). Saying these toothless sanctions are going to stop the Russians is like saying the stimulus checks solved the closure of businesses and unemployment.
On another note, if I am sanctioned by the Indonesian government, that means nothing to me since I’ve never been to Indonesia. It would mean a lot if I had piles of money in Indonesia. Likewise, Russian oligarchs probably have a vast majority of their assets in Russia (maybe it’s targeting the kids of the oligarchs who live outside Russia?), they can use crypto to operate outside of Russia, and their income flow is unhampered since there are no sanctions on Oil and Gas which is where the Russian oligarchs make their money. Even if it were the case that these would get Russia to stop, the sanctions are also not in effect immediately.
Within 30 days, OFAC is requiring all U.S. financial institutions to close any Sberbank correspondent or payable-through accounts and to reject any future transactions involving Sberbank or its foreign financial institution subsidiaries.
Oh no, I have 30 days to do whatever I need to recover all my assets, take care of my family, move my assets to Russia and/or convert them to crypto. This security kabuki is just more agitprop for the West while doing nothing to stop Russia and just further push the Western agenda.
Is India or China wrong for not supporting sanctions or abstaining from the UNSC vote? The UNSC votes are as worthless as a high school model UN vote condemning Russia. What does it actually do? China and India would never shoot themselves in the foot until after a result is determined.
The West (NGO not government) funded insurgencies (e.g. Chechen Mujahadeen) against Russia. Russia has alleged many more than the US admits to.
Some other things:
I spoke with some people I know in the region. Anti-semitism is rampant in both Ukraine and Russia. Russia also has anti-Ukrainian sentiment among its citizenry (which you wouldn’t think from Putin calling Ukraine the brother country). Apparently, they have a saying “a Ukrainian is worse than a Jew.” What a cheerful bunch of people. Polls say Ukraine is more anti-semitic which would make sense when neo-Nazi candidates actually have seats.
Bandera refers to this guy by the way.
I don’t know if we should be on the same side as George Soros. Perhaps later I’ll go over some of the things he’s done before. Globalists may love him, but he is the opposite of America First. Also, Ukraine isn't a liberal democracy.
Does Ukraine stand with us? Never heard of them helping us before (other than paying the talentless children of our corrupt Elite)
Why is Russia the great Satan? China does horrible things and our leaders don’t boycott their goods (though what good does boycotting alcohol but not gasoline which is the biggest part of their economy do), but it all changes when it’s Russia. When the US does horrible things, the international community does nothing to us. The hypocrisy is palpable.
Comparison to the US invasions
Does the US even want peace? The White House has asked Zelensky to not negotiate peace (perhaps because China, India, or Turkey, would be mediating it) and instead offers military aid to Ukraine. Putin has said that he does not want to conquer Ukraine and that he urges surrender, not slaughter. His gripe is with the Western installed Ukrainian government. Obviously, he has ulterior motives than just his announced ones, but it is unlikely he is straight-up lying about intentions. Perhaps he wants to free up the canal to help out Crimea so he can go after the natural gas deposits (will discuss this in a separate post). In that case, it would be simple to negotiate: agree to all of Russia’s demands however, Russia cannot develop oil and gas operations in the gas deposits in Donbas and east of Crimea and if Russia says no to this, its true intentions are revealed.
We do have an ultimate weapon against Russia though.
